THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Senior P&O Business Partner in the ZTF & ZPS business engagement team, you will have a direct impact partnering with all Zalando Payments (ZPS) leaders on all people topics including organizational design, employee engagement, employee retention and driving our DE&I as well as performance culture.
Zalando Payments GmbH is a separate Zalando entity with ca. 240 people. It provides customers with an array of locally relevant purchasing options, as part of our broader convenience proposition. We help to drive deeper customer relationships through locally competitive payment options (20+ payment options, with a high BNPL share) that are cost-efficient and increase the level of convenience. ZPS (Zalando Payment Solutions) was founded in 2016 and has a BAFIN-authorized eMoney license which is passported to all relevant European markets.

You will autonomously consult and enable business leaders on a diverse range of people topics
You will drive people initiatives and projects in line with the ZPS business, overarching P&O priorities, and the ZPS people strategy
You will draw insights from data, such as our employee survey zBeat, to improve employee engagement and overall team health and team effectiveness of your business unit in scope
You will closely collaborate with other P&O Business Partners as well as all other P&O functions, such as people operations, talent acquisition, and our people product teams
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF….
You have minimum 5 years proven work experience as a HR Business Partner
You have a good understanding of talent management and organizational development
You are a reliable sparring partner for leads that enjoys winning them over with facts and figures, while also being an active listener that is open to new perspectives
You have a dose of courage and confidence to raise your opinion in a constructive manner in leadership rounds
You have strong solution development capabilities
You have clear and structured communication skills, and fluent written and oral German and English language skills
You have relevant first proven experience in working with employee representations, such as works councils etc.
